Starting out - Iniziamo Bene

Hi This blog is for those insane aiming at attending the SDA Bocconi Global EMBA. I'll provide you useful tips to survive without being overwhelmed by the heavy weight of the EMBA stuff.
I started the Global EMBA (first edition) on January 2008 and I'm still alive... so far at least. But if you'll follow my blog you'll find out whether, in the end, I'll be able to achieve my MBA degree.
To start I'll serve you a couple of tips for those involved in the application process. Please, please please don't waste your time and money on GMAT or letters, just do the TOEFL, arrange a meeting with the boss R. Dona' and take the chance to spend a day in class (contact the myth Laura Russo). Se you in class

Ok questo blog è per tutti coloro che vogliono scoprire come si può sopravvivere all'edizione internazionale dell'EMBA della SDA Bocconi senza perdere la testa.
Io ho cominciato il Global EMBA a Gennaio 2008 e fino ad adesso sono sopravvissuto. Ok non è detto che arriverò in fondo con ancora tutte le rotelle a posto ma se seguirete il blog scoprirete se ce l'avrò fatta o meno.

Siccome per cominciare bene bisogna partire col piede giusto vi darò un primo tip. Se volete essere ammessi all'EMBA senza perdere tempo non fate il GMAT (a meno che non lo abbiate già per altri motivi), fate solo il TOEFL. La lettera di referenza pure non serve. Ciò è stato valido per la prima edizione del Global EMBA e rimarrà a mio avviso così anche per le prossime due o tre.....vi spiegero' un giorno il perche'.
Piuttosto fatevi un giro a vedere com'e' l'EMBA, fissando con la gentilissima Laura Russo e poi, se avete ancora dubbi, parlate col boss R. Dona'.

PS Io ovviamente ho fatto il GMAT (710/800), il TOEFL (113/120) e ho presentato due lettere di referenza.
